DAYCARE - 9 months to 2 years

Infants and toddlers need a safe, nurturing environment to begin exploring the world around them. At Kidzare we provide all the support and early education that young children need to learn, grow, and form solid educational foundations.

Infants grow and learn every day. Kidzcare provides a safe and nurturing “home away from home” where infants can explore and make new discoveries. Young children learn through play, and our Infant care program is designed to provide infants with the skills that serve as building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

We’re committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural for you and your child.

Our Infant Program Features

LEARNING CENTRE - 2 to 6 years

At Kidzcare, we believe in developing the whole child by meeting their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs so that they can learn and grow every day. However, children develop differently at different ages, which is why we offer early education programs designed for certain age groups:

At this age, children make new discoveries daily. And as two-year-olds begin to express their independence, our Preschool program introduces them to a world of learning, sharing and exploring.

Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with the early learning fundamentals they’ll need as they continue on to preschool, with a rich blend of music, art and dramatic play.

Our Play Group Program Features

  • Encouragement and support that builds your child’s self-confidence and self-help skills
  • Opportunities for your child to express him or herself creatively through music, arts, dance and drama
  • A classroom environment that focuses on building your child’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical skills
  • Age-appropriate activities and materials that help your child master important learning concepts
  • Regular teacher-family communication, including daily updates to keep you informed
  • Engaging small and large-group experiences

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they feel ready to take on the world. Our Nursery program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and develop a love of lifelong learning.

Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children develop a variety of skills and knowledge in areas like early literacy, mathematics, science and social skills.

Our Nursery Program Features

  • Themed units that encourage your child’s curiosity, increase confidence, and support self-directed activities
  • Hands-on experiences designed to boost problem solving and scientific thinking skills
  • Daily small- and whole-group activities
  • Observation-based assessments that track your child’s progress toward developmental milestones and school readiness
  • Portfolios that document growth and development through your child’s work
  • Regular teacher-family communication, including ways you can continue the learning in your own home

Pre-Kindergarten is a time when children are making connections between what they know and what they are learning. As they leave the world of preschool and head towards kindergarten, children are learning to participate in routines, demonstrate ability to make decisions, and plan ahead.

Daily activities at Kidzcare are designed to help children continue to make decisions on their own and in the classroom. We prepare them for the next stage of their education while giving them a place to feel comfortable and safe to explore their interests.

Our Pre-Kindergarten Program Features

  • Activities and lessons that help prepare your child for kindergarten and school success
  • Small-group lessons focused on mathematics, language and literacy
  • Whole-group activities that help your child build an awareness of others and a sense of community
  • Hands-on experiences that encourage independent, creative learning
  • Classroom activities and design features that help your child build literacy and numeracy skills
  • Regular teacher-family communication, including ways to connect your child’s learning at home

As children reach school age, our comprehensive, academically rich kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create — all in a nurturing, small-class setting.

We present our unique curriculum of reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and physical fitness in an engaging way that encourages a lifelong love of learning. Our kindergarten program prepares children to confidently enter first grade.

Our Kindergarten Program Features

  • Individual attention in a small-class setting

At Kidzcare we believe that the 5 elements viz. Knowledge, Health, Education, Recreation and Arts are required in the overall development of children.

Knowledge: We use storytelling and word games to help your child practice imitating and responding asking questions, and following simple directions; provide practice naming familiar items; and support rich vocabulary development.

Education: We provide opportunities to identify basic colors and shapes; bring concepts of cause-and-effect to life through storytelling, music, and art; and model and encourage your child to practice sorting and matching.

“We are a reflection of the culture we grow up in”

Recreation: We encourage interactions with other children in group activities; guide the development of sharing and listening skills; model how to express emotions appropriately; and guide your child to learn classroom routines.

Health: We teach body parts through stories, song, and rhyme; promote self-care skills such as feeding, cleaning, and dressing; and support large-motor development and eye-hand coordination through a variety of activities such as kicking balls, tossing, writing, drawing, and lacing.

Arts: We encourage pretending and role-playing through play with props; support individual expression through participation in group activities; and promote self-expression through art and music.
